Cloth-backed chromolithograph boards. NY: White, Stokes & Allen, 1889.

A lovely volume in a series of 10 little cookbooks by Thomas Murrey. Murrey was a professional caterer at the Astor House, and later owned a restaurant in Washington, D.C. Among the recipes herein, we have lima bean salad, milkweed salad, mayonnaise of eels, Major Bailey's rockfish salad, etc. A few faint stains to covers; owner's name & address in ballpoint pen to title page, else very good.
