Gilt-lettered green cloth. First Edition. Hollywood: Oxford Press, 1946.
An unusual cocktail book written for bartenders and bar owners, describing the occupation of a bartender and what a bar should and shouldn't be, as well as having a wine pairing list for meals that may be served at a bar. A list of what should be stocked behind the bar is followed by a poem called "Mickey Finn," and there is also a list of names of glasses. Numerous cocktail recipes follow. Mild insect damage to covers, else very good.
